Stories of the Prophets

Lessons and wisdom from the lives of the Prophets in the Holy Quran

🌿 Adam ﷺ
Allah created him with His own hands, breathed into him from His spirit, and commanded the angels to bow to him. Allah settled him and Hawwa in Paradise. Iblis tempted them to eat from the forbidden tree. They repented and Allah forgave them and sent them to earth as vicegerents.
💡 Lesson: Sincere repentance erases sins and opens the door of mercy
🤲 His Dua:
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers. (Al-Araf:23)
🚢 Nuh ﷺ
He called his people for 950 years but only a few believed. Allah commanded him to build the ark while his people mocked him. The great flood came; Allah saved the believers in the ark and destroyed the disbelievers. He was the first of the Ulul Azm (Messengers of Firm Resolve).
💡 Lesson: Patience in calling to Allah with certainty of His victory
🤲 His Dua:
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and believing women. (Nuh:28)
🔥 Ibrahim ﷺ — Khalilullah
He smashed his people’s idols and defeated Nimrod with rational argument. They threw him in a fire, but Allah made it cool and peaceful. He emigrated and was blessed with Ismail and Ishaq in old age. He was commanded to sacrifice his son, who was ransomed with a great ram. He built the Kaaba with Ismail.
💡 Lesson: Complete faith turns hardships into blessings and fires into coolness
🤲 His Dua:
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and from my descendants. Our Lord, accept my supplication. (Ibrahim:40)
⚡ Musa ﷺ — Kalimullah
Born during the reign of Pharaoh who slaughtered Israelite sons. He grew up in Pharaoh’s palace. He received revelation at the tree of Mount Sinai. He confronted Pharaoh with miracles: the staff, the white hand, plagues. He saved the Israelites, parted the sea and drowned Pharaoh and his army.
💡 Lesson: Truthfulness with Allah saves from the mightiest tyrants and greatest armies
🤲 His Dua:
My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me. (Al-Qasas:16)
🕊️ Isa ﷺ — Ruhullah
Born without a father by Allah’s command — a great sign. He spoke in the cradle. He raised the dead by Allah’s permission and healed the blind and lepers. He received the Injeel. He was raised to heaven and was not killed. He will descend at the end of time, renewing the law of Islam.
💡 Lesson: Trust in Allah alone is the source of every miracle and every good
🤲 His Dua:
Our Lord, send down to us a table spread from the heaven. (Al-Maidah:114)
